I'm Back!
Added 2022-10-11 22:59:33 +0000 UTCHello all who have stayed here despite my unannounced hiatus...A lot of changes were happening: I got engaged, took in a stray cat, a friend moved out and another moved into the apartment below me, and a whole slew of other excuses that don't add up properly to me leaving this Patreon dry for so long.
All I can say is that I feel SO MUCH better after this break. I think I was overwhelmed with how quickly I was growing and other's expectations that I short circuited my own brain. It made me dislike drawing for a time and since I went on vacation, I have not drawn a single line...until today.
A few days ago, someone made a fan animation of their favorite Kree tiktok and something clicked inside me that I haven't believed, truly believed, in a while. That people enjoy what I do and the love story I have made.
I do not know how long this lightness in my heart will last, but I will do everything in my power to keep it here and not darken it with my own insecurity and self-doubt.
I hope you all come to realize, like I did, just how much I appreciate you and your support. You all have lifted up a completely unknown artist into someone who might just be worth something, even for a small portion of her life.
