Monsterlover Commission Art!

The lovely person who commissioned these said I could post them on my patreon so here they are! I think the characters are absolutely wonderful, so I'll put their info blurbs below:

Van and Lioran.
"These two are heavily inspired OCs of the Tears of the Kingdom game in the LoZ series. Van was a man cursed to become a savage Lynel, very aggressive and stand-off in nature. Lioran is an embodiment of the Light Dragon who is cheerful and soft, wanting to heal those around him. He wants to take care of Van, though he’s defiant at first because he’s been hurt."

Madeline and Edward.
"Edward is a gentleman who suffered from a body changing curse, who took Madeline as his mate. Unlike his kind, he tries to be more well-mannered and doesn’t want to scare anyone. Madeline is a free spirit who tends to act more wild and nature-loving as she was raised by beasts."

I didn't know about this! This isn't my character, and I don't plan on making any characters inspired by that particular creature, but I suppose the least I can do censor the word here.

Hey just a bit of an fyi, A few tribes of Indigenous people have asked that the w-word not be used, whether it be spoken or in text. Not only is it offensive to them but, in their culture, they believe just uttering its name can bring forth the creature. Now, I am aware that this is only a handful of tribes and not all feel the same way. However, that does not take away that a minority of people have asked for it not to be spoken, or even written. Doing so shows a deep level of disrespect to them, no matter if we mean it harmlessly. I know that none of you mean to be harmful, and a lot of that comes down to just simply not knowing. The more we share about this, the more people it teaches. If any artist, author, or individual uses it or has it as a play on words, I would consider what kind of person they are. Even more so when people point it out and they defend it. With the rise of skull headed monsters being published, I'll always support the ones who don't wish to harm any community, no matter how small that harm might be considered.
