Mierce Miniatures are the creators of the Darklands dark fantasy skirmish wargame and associated miniatures and are based in the heart of Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, just a stone's throw away from where Penda of Mierce killed King Edwin of Northumbria in 633 AD.
We've been breathing life into the dark ages of fantasy for over ten years and have produced thousands of miniatures in that time in physical form, and we're here to offer you the chance to print our miniatures too!
Each month we give you a battle host of our amazing 32mm scale Darklands miniatures as supported and unsupported LYS and STL files to download, print and play! Worth over £400 if purchased in cast resin, each battle host's digital files are yours for just £9.99 with the Miercenary tier or £7.99 if you are one of the 250 Miercenary early birds!
Brythoniaid (Powys) Battle Host
The battle host for September is the frankly stunning Brythoniaid (Powys) Battle Host, containing the jabberwock-creatures known as the dynwocor and their larger cousins the cocwocorau, afancod and wocorau.
Containing nine totally new miniatures, this month's battle host really is a superb deal, as are all of our previous battle hosts!

As well as that monthly battle host, Miercenaries will also gain access to our Welcome to Darklands package, which contains PDF copies of the latest version of the Darklands: Second Edition rule book as well as the Darklands: Second Edition Quick Play Guide, the What is Darklands? Guide, the Lands of Darkness Kindred Guide and the latest Mierce Miniatures Compendium (a catalogue of all our amazing miniatures). In short, you'll be given everything you need to start your journey into Darklands the wargame!
The Battle of Tara
Once you become a Miercenary you will gain access to a Download Links post which will contain a link to that month's battle host via MyAirBridge, but you will also be signed up to a user group on MyMiniFactory which will allow you to redeem the files there.
If you become a patron and wish to purchase the previous month's battle host, you'll be able to purchase them from our MyMiniFactory store with a 30% off discount code, and sometimes we offer other discounts as well as joining in with MyMiniFactory's sales.
Supported and Unsupported Files
Our miniatures come in the form of test-printed, supported LYS project files as well as supported and unsupported STL files. These are prepared by our master printer and moulder who prepares all our files for master printing. Note that supported files are only offered at the 32mm scale used for our physical miniatures, and are optimised for resin printers, not FDM printers.

You'll always have access to our Darklands round and oval bases as well as our BaneLegions round, oval and square bases for generic wargames.

There is no password.
There will, of course, be another battle host each month of around the same size (the Norse kindred will feature next), and the month after that, and so on and so on; many of you will know we are also a physical manufacturer, and what we are doing at the moment is offering our back catalogue digital files (with a few new miniatures sprinkled in) until the two ‘streams’ can merge, which should occur in February or March of next year.
Our digital journey does not mean we'll stop manufacturing in resin, either cast resin or our new ‘Grey Wulf’ printer resin, which is ultra-strong and very flexible - it's a bit like the hard plastic you get from GW. Far from it; we'll continue producing the finest physical miniatures in the world for as long as we draw breath, for not everyone has the time or inclination to use a 3D printer.
