I'm really late to this conversation. Sitting here with my first case of COVID binging videos. Here to say I've thought from the beginning that Simon came in to the competition with the idea of putting a boy band together. It completely makes sense when you look at their voice ranges. They could absolutely hear Louis' tenor carrying those choruses. The looks, the styles, the personalities. They were handpicked from the beginning.

2022-11-26 04:46:32 +0000 UTCYeah, it was actually Nicole who had the idea, calling them "little stars you can't get rid of so you have to put them all together" so Simon might've had the idea of wanting a boyband for that season, but Nicole was mainly the one who picked out all five of them. Funny how Simon took all the credit tho :)
