Your reaction video feels like a breath of fresh air. The chronically online backlash to this album is so divorced from reality. So many of the hot takes are based solely on misinterpreting her lyrics in the most ridiculous ways. I agree with your final assessment. This is a solid album and has so many fun songs. The reaction to TTPD was that she needed to tone down the overly wordy lyrics and focus on making catchy songs again. She did that. The frenzied haters and stans will eventually lose steam. I think that when people look back on this album in a few years, the reception won't be as sharply critical. Its not her best work, but its good and she should be proud.

Others ruined their experience due to their high expectations! Thats why I love watching more musician reacting to songs than casual people who know nothing about music.
