Added 2023-01-02 14:01:00 +0000 UTCI'm just realizing as I'm writing this post that there may be some of you out there who are new to my audience and may not be up on all the Legmuscle-verse deep lore. Such people could be forgiven for not understanding why Laser Lass is not freaked out by gnomes stealing her boots off of her feet.
Back in...God, it must be 2007 or 2008, I drew a comic story called "The Interview" where a job interview is interrupted by invisible (to most people) gnomes who like to steal women's clothing and carry it away in colourful baskets. The story was pretty well-liked, and I've deployed the gnomes once or twice since then, but this is their first appearance in an actual comic, which confirms that The Interview and Laser Lady share a universe. Mind blowing, I know.
Long story short: Laser Lass can't see the gnomes or sense what they're doing to her, pretty much like the Underpants Gnomes from South Park, that I subconsciously ripped them off from.
