His offer to share an undisclosed amount of treasure with her is interpreted as a bribe, (mostly because it is a bribe) which immediately gets Laser Lass's back up with righteous indignation. She fires another Laser Lance in his direction, and this one hits the mark!
Meanwhile Victoria flees to relative safety off panel. Yes, she kept her sneakers. 😜

Perfectly legitimate question, don't worry about it. Short answer is: I don't know. I keep making estimates and they keep being wrong. Gun to my head: 8-10 pages. I have to wrap up Mondo Mongol, and check in with Laser Lady and the slime monsters as promised. I have a plan sketched out in my head how it plays out, but I don't have anything on paper, so I can never be sure of the exact page count.
