Laser Lass laments the lapse in lucidity that led to losing her laser listen. She's fairly certain she has hit her quarry, but can't be entirely sure. A bystander confirms the hit, but she can't be sure until she's seen it with her own eyes. Fortunately, a friendly bystander offers to lend her some eyeglasses, and because this is a superhero comic, they disguise her identity completely!

Now able to see, and cover herself, she attempts to regain her bearings, and the same helpful bystander points out that Mondo Mongol is attempting yet another quick exit.

It's strange how a pair of glasses became the ultimate superhero disguise. It's even stranger that the prototype for the modern superhero actually went maskless in his superhero form, and chose to wear a kind of mask in his everyday identity. I always wondered why everyone assumed that Superman even had a secret identity. I mean, obviously not, you can see his face, right? Why would anyone assume he was anyone else but Superman? These are the things that occupy the space in my brain that most people would store their knowledge of interest rates and other useful information.

This page features a cameo by Bio's character Lauren. Hopefully nothing befalls her in the next page or so...twice.
