They were surprisingly tricky to paint neatly! When I had any red overspill onto the bone armour I just painted over it with Decomposed Flesh mixed with a bit of Grim Brown to match the colour as best I can. If you get a little bit of red overspill, the wash usually covers it up. You can also mask off the area with thin strips of hobby masking tape, putty, or even masking paint to prevent overspill.
