Added 2023-03-07 08:15:03 +0000 UTCHi! I hope you're have a good day. I'd like to encourage you in some way once in a while. I can randomly choose one patron/booster per month for a free sketch or just do post for headshot doodle requests. Which do you like better? What do you think?
I'd also like to try doing some sort of chat/server. But I have a really small social charge, so it probably won't be moderated very well. What do you think?

2023-03-12 08:11:12 +0000 UTCI like the random patreon idea but also understand if the general request idea holds more appeal because it helps engage the rest of your audience. Maybe you could alternate on some schedule to keep both parties engaged?

More then a few artists do this as it takes the preasure off them while being able to get a source of good feed back

For one thing some people will expect it which will put pressure on yourself and even worse some people will get upset if they do not win. I know that sounds incredibly petty but that's just some people for you. I am absolutely not saying don't do it just consider how you can make it feel fair. Maybe don't make it an "announced award" knowing that there will always be a draw raises peoples expectations instead just doing a random announcement to your patron/boosty crew that you are in the mood to do a head shoot or sketch so please comment with your idea below then leave it a day or two to give every one a chance to comment. This takes away peoples expectation of getting something with there subscription while allowing you to not be under pressure to deliver every month. As for the discord/chat idea. I would love to be able to talk to you but I am WAY to self conscious and just assume I come across a seriously creepy person so I really feel nervous doing those things. But at the same time... would love to ask questions.
