To celebrate, we decided to look back on the last time Square-Enix decided to revisit their 1997 cash cow. 15 years ago, the publisher launched Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, a multimedia project mostly focused on their Japanese audience. Of course, since millions of fans were wondering what happened after the game's ambiguous ending, Square-Enix decided to answer this lingering question with a full-length movie headed up by the same creative leads of Final Fantasy VII. And the results were... mixed at best. On this episode, join Bob Mackey, Jeremy Parish, Henry Gilbert, and Kat Bailey as the crew does their best to come to terms with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. No dilly-dallying or shilly-shallying allowed!

I had fun with this movie when it came out. I thought the action was fine eye candy, even though I felt nothing for the characters and story. Then again, I never got far in the game so if I had I'd probably be as disappointed as everyone here is. (This happened to me with Dragon Quest: Your Story.)
