What do do with bots?

I figure the reason why is that $1 is usually enough to get away with a lot of art.
Letting it be just brings annoyance to me and raises the chance of work leaking out.
So I have proposed a solution. The lowest tier would be $2. With $1 being a dummy pledge. It'll make it much easier to filter out the bots and keep them from trying to get free stuff.
Course that means a 100% increase to a patrons who have legit pledged $1. Which is two people. But I still don't want to leave them out.
What are your thoughts?

I'm only really bothered by the bots. I'll just block people who do that. Bots, hopefully they're not smart enough to figure out they aren't getting any content from their fake pledge though. Because there's a lot more bots than cheating users. Unless bots also exploit this. I don't know

2017-08-19 02:31:54 +0000 UTCIt's not gonna work anyway. Patreon has a bug where once you pledge, all the locked stuff becomes available to you even though you didn't need to pay. And since they only force you to pay at the end of each month, if you cancel out your pledge before that time comes, you basically have access to the whole gallery without paying a dime. The best solution (that not even yiff.party aka the biggest furry piracy net managed to unblock) would be to put a preview image and only e-mail legit paying Patreons from the last month or so the files. This also solves the problem of work leaking out, because you can just sneak in small edits to the image and figure out who's leaking it, so you can block them.
