#3 The answer is trust funds. The fact she is like, "Should I get the money?" is the problem. The parents should make trust funds for the kids and the house specifically. That way she doesn't go, "Well, I could use a better vacation right now". Also, I laugh at them thinking there will be all that much left after the care home. My grandparents went into a nice one and there wasn't all that much left. Sure, they weren't rich, but they didn't go to a rich persons care home.
