2021-02-25 05:19:12 +0000 UTCThat's a good question. Back then, YouTube was not required to tell you WHY you got the copyright strike like they are today. Now, they have to tell you exactly what part of the video or audio caused the strike. I think it might have been because of the music videos I used in that mashup. Strikes are usually given because of the video used, not the audio.

The juxtaposition of the Slayer lyrics and aggression on the lighter pop music works much better than it has any right to. Just curious, what was the issue with this one in particular? Why did you have to remove it considering that you have two other WHAM!/Slayer mashups that are still on YouTube?

I'm a sucker for covers, but most mashups just... well... weren't any good. This one was so well made, so professional, and so hilarious that I couldn't stop watching. Showed it to my friends, they loved it. Showed it to my kids, and we spent hours watching your other videos. You're an artist, and I sincerely appreciate what you do. Keep it up. I'm glad to be a supporter.
