Raquel and I hit it off immediately even though we could not understand each other's language. She barely understood English as she had moved there recently from Spain to work in a Hotel in England. However, we managed to communicate through sign language and sometimes using google translate to understand each other. She had made the tastiest Spanish Omelette for me after the shoot. Somehow, culturally, the Spanish, the Brazilians have a lot more in common with Indians than a lot of the other western countries.
