This marks one of the toughest storylines I’ve ever drawn emotionally. I know we’re a little sad here right now in Bearlyland, but I just want to take a moment to say I am happy and thankful for all the positive comments to the characters and the story that hit home for many people. ❤️

Damn! Joe was younger than me! I dodged a bullet back in 2021. I hardly had any symptoms except a slight “fuzzy” feeling in my chest whenever I over exerted myself. I worked as a cardiac ultrasound technician and I knew this was a warning sign. My dad had the same symptoms and I recognized it as angina. I had a heart Cath within a day of discussing it with a cardiologist. Turned out I had a 99% blockage of the main artery called “The Widow Maker”! I received one stent to open up the clogged artery. So, young or old, do NOT ignore any symptoms and check it out! 😘❤️
