Cause I should’ve told the truth to his mother and not hide behind a bowl face line. He should’ve stood up for himself and Ray by admitting that he is who he is and try to make the best of the situation, even if the consequences may not be favorable for him. Lying about what happened is only going to make things worse for him down the line.

He could of left at any given point, definitely Clyde could been better about making it clear his stance and how it wasn’t going to change any time soon. So I would not put it all on Clyde as Ray agreed to this relationship.

I know Clyde is scared & panicking & traumatized, I know this is a process, I know I should have more grace for his situation, etc. But Ray sacrificed so much for him. Let himself - an out-&-proud queer man - be relegated to a shameful secret so that he could love Clyde in a way he was comfortable with. Regularly exercised so much patience with Clyde, did his level best to help him slowly explore & gather up the courage to be himself. All for Clyde to throw him under the bus & cruelly disrespect/deny their whole damn relationship at the first sign of scrutiny from other people. Pathetic, cowardly, undeserving. 😒
