Russia-Ukraine Flash Report for 5-24-22 15:15 PDT - Severodonetsk Salient Update

Russia might control part of Lyman as the sun sets, and there are reports of massive fighting in Severodonetsk (city). NASA FIRMS supports those reports.
Otherwise it appears around Popasna, Ukrainian forces held the lines of conflict - some small gains by Russia but not the flood we saw 12 hours ago. The sun will be rising soon in Ukraine - we will see what the new day brings.
Another DNR Unit is refusing to fight. The 107th Infantry Brigade has made a video refusing to fight for Russia in the Izyum area. They are citing they want to fight in their own territory, not for and with the LDR. This is the second DNR unit that has openly defied Russian officials. The 107th is even more depleted, the unit is down to the size of a company - 206 soldiers in the video.
