What's the big story? Diplomatically, Russia has had a terrible, awful, horrible 24 hours. The announcement they were withdrawing from the grain export deal backfired spectacularly, with the Kremlin looking like an impotent bully on the world stage. The terror attacks on Ukrainian electrical infrastructure have brought Israel and the People's Republic of China to the table to counter the damage (among a long list of nations). The IAEA reported they are looking for dirty bombs as requested.
The second story? Both big stories are largely off the battlefield. There is some serious game of thrones going on in the Kremlin between Putin, Shoigu, Kadyrov, and Prigozhin.
