Because I no longer have to manually add people, I've stopped putting the "X people joined us this month" because it's no longer that simple.

As you may have noticed, I've been working hard at getting some additional (subtle) features on the site. You can now see how long a file is 'patron only' on the detail page. And you can see which ones are never becoming available.
