I'll have to take that into consideration! I dont draw avians very often. (I just Realised that I posted an un-cropped version of this image before, and will be replacing it with another bird >.<) That being said, my research into them is a bit sketchy at best, having really only been going off of skulls and other artists interpretations of bird TFs. Thank you for the insight! ^_^

2021-01-06 04:29:37 +0000 UTCGood work as always. I'm not sure I agree that the teeth-becoming-a-beak thing is realistic, however. Beaks are karatin on top of a skin-like layer above the skull (which extends under the beak just like with a muzzle) while teeth are made of dentine covered by enamel, and aren't part of the skull. Some birds also have an atavistic mutation where they grow teeth inside their beaks, and some animals like turtles have karatin plates on the tips of their muzzles, which is probably how dinosaur muzzles evolved into beaks. I think in a TF where everything turns into the homologous structure, a beak would have to form by the face stretching into a triangular muzzle, then growing karatin on top of that.
