Another rather quick animation to test out my recent Hawk Head Sculpt/Character Morph of which I really like the result. Was very interesting to try and figure out what parts of the base mesh I could make use of to form into a beak, settled on the lips and inner mouth geometry.
Taking into account some advice last month about not having the teeth turn into a beak, and with a little more research this is actually a bit more accurate, when it comes to realism. The skull shape reforming and pushing outward with a outer beak layer forming over the bone, that layer being formed from the flesh hardening and changing composition.
Still looking for a good and free Video Editing and Composition program so I can put together some longer videos showing off multiple parts of the body changing. Think, Mini Movie style vids. If anyone knows of any Drop me the names and links! ^_^
