Discord Extras {April 2021}

I was fully back in the saddle last month, and thus I've got a ton of stuff from Discord to share! ^o^

The two largest projects being the Maned wolf guy and Giraffe gal which I will cover in a bit. Also figured out a way to allow more detailed modeling in Blender by using a temp modifier to increase geometry count, so I was able to go through and improve on some of my older morphs mainly my ones for my wolf model, and of course create more detailed models in the form of the Maned Wolf and Giraffe! Its so nice to be able to portray the actual bone and muscle structure now, to me, that's a HUGE step forward!

Given the subject matter of the month it quickly became the "Month of Legs" heralded by the Maned wolf. haha

A maned wolf is actually something that I've been wanting to create for quite some time and it was a lot of fun to explore some of their unique anatomical features, a lot of which I didn't know of before like the merged central digits of their hands and feet. Which I will straight up and say was extremely hard to model! But still fun none the less! ^_^

The Giraffe was a bit more easier to model using my Deer assets as a base for a lot of the morphs. What was the real difficulty here was the Texture maps, oh did they ever put up a fight! Definitely among the most complex and advanced fur patterns to date. I am still a bit amazed they came out as well as they did. ^_^

I'll like to finish this off by saying I was also able to build myself a Webcam Mount for my clipboard and successfully managed to stream myself working on a traditional piece of art using it! Which is really exciting! It opens up a lot of possibilities for future streaming endeavors! Make sure to keep an eye out over at the discord community if watching me work interests you! ^o^ Eventually I plan on recording it and posting them here, but that will probably have to wait until I get faster Internet available where I'm living, and need to find some free to use video editing software as well. But we are taking steps closer at the least! ^_^

All in all March was a pretty great month, and really looking forward to what the future holds! As always thank you all so much for your interest and support no matter how much it is and in whatever form it may be! I am So grateful for all of you! ^_^
