Update 2/6/2022 7:45 PM
Project is now Complete! Enjoy! ^o^
The Actual "Collage Image" is gonna be a little late, I still got Text to write for it, and well, we all know that I am super slow at writing/typing. I also ended up having to make a lot more 3D assets for the project then I originally thought, so it set me behind quite a bit. >.<'
So in the meantime, enjoy the many parts created for the Project, the final image should be up no later than tomorrow night! ^_^
Still not 100% Sure what to call this Transformation Sequence format, but I am beginning to lean towards "TF Collage". Definitely a format I really want to keep exploring and elaborating on. IMO, it's a perfect format for projects relating to my Morphological Institute setting.
A Bit of Back Story
Amelia is a Police officer and part of the K9 Unit Division at her precinct. She decided to undergo the species reassignment procedure at the Morphological Institute, hoping that doing so would help her better train and understand the Canine Units under her protection and make her a better cop overall. She'd do anything to protect those she loves and her community even if it required losing parts of her humanity to do so...
Overall the concept isn't one of my most original ideas, but, it's a concept I've always liked and wanted to explore. Providing meaningful motives to a TF scenario is always something I enjoy doing whenever the opportunity can present itself.^_^
Some Comments on the Creation Process
A Lot more went into this project then I originally anticipated, a lot of my older assets needed their Texture settings updated to work with Daz's new IRAY render settings. Also, I was missing a few needed props, and ended up creating a new Police Character and complete wardrobe to go along with her.
This project showcased the Exterior of the Morphological Institute for the first time in a TF piece, as well as the Institutes resident Canine Practitioner doing his thing, you'd probably recall seeing and reading about him in my past projects. ^_^
Most importantly of note, I was finally able to get very close to realistic looking full body fur! I'm still gonna keep trying to improve on it even further, but its definitely a new milestone! ^_^
The last five images of this post are some fur tests for an added Bonus! :P
I hope you all enjoy! And again Thank you all so much and make sure to keep an eye out for the Final Collage Image coming real soon!! ^o^
