A chilly ride outside, through forest, cave and over a cracking lake, ending in a nice warm place.
A cool adventure and sleepy warmth.

Thanks!

This was a nice story, I fell asleep before the end. Wasn't expecting a dog sled a all though.

You're very welcome. It was very fun to create.

I wanted to listen to this on Christmas day while others were busy with their gifts. But as soon as i got to the cave, someone decided they wanted a cup of tea..πŸ™„ I didn't mind, it's Christmas after all. I like Christmas, it's the next bit i don't like. Anyway in my mind i imagined it was Christmas day for my sleigh ride. :) And i must say, the very detailed narration by Sir is impressive. I don't have a problem with visualizing what i hear but that made everything all the more vivid. The scenery was very pretty. I imagined the creature running parallel with the sleigh was a large, majestic stag. :) Each time i listened to this when it got to the cave i remember going in because it was a stunning image in my mind but i don't remember coming out, just nearly back at the cabin. That was a bit puzzling, but I'm always tired, but as the year draws to an end i sleep even less. Just a coincidence with the cave i suppose. But i imagined a log fire crackling away in the hearth and a Christmas tree in a corner. I find real fires mesmerising. It was nice to be handed a cup of tea, but at that moment the warmth made me very sleepy :) The story and the detailed narration made everything incredibly real. A nice bit of seasonal escapism :) You are an extraordinary creative storyteller as well as an extraordinary hypnotist. ❀️ It was magical. Thank you Sir. ❀️

You're very welcome. And you're right, I had fun!

Yay! You haven't released a story file like this in a while, and I absolutely adore your story files. They're the ones I return to time and time again. I'm not from a normally wintry climate, but have experienced enough snow to be able to imagine the scene. And I've heard the cracking sound in movies or documentaries, so I could imagine that as well. A delightful file and wonderful journey. I could tell you were really enjoying the telling. It's a lovely holiday gift for your listeners. Thank you!
