Added 2022-05-03 18:16:56 +0000 UTCI've been travelling around Mexico for the last couple of months & my journey also took me to my friends´ place in the mountains south of Mexico City.
While I was already blown away by the beauty of this magnificent country, visiting the home of my friends Carlos & Sofia made me fall in love head over heels with their home. So I just had to create a set inspired by their little house (casíta means little house in Spanish) - 𝘾𝙤𝙯𝙮 𝘾𝙖𝙨í𝙩𝙖 was born.
I adore the charming style mix, bright colors and all the little details, creating a unique atmosphere, which is just so joyful and yet super cozy.
I mixed objects I found in their home (like the wood stove & the lamp) with some furniture created by young Mexican designers (like the armchair) and pieces I just liked. Plus there is a frame in honor of Frida Kahlo of course, who is one of my favorite painters.
As I experienced the Mexican culture as one close to nature and thus spiritualism, I also added a terracotta shrine. You can choose between some different types you can place on a surface and also some you can hang on the wall and fill with all the items you love.
I hope the spark leaps over and my collection inspires you to build and create a 𝘾𝙤𝙯𝙮 𝘾𝙖𝙨í𝙩𝙖 for your Sims as well !! Thank you so much for everything - you guys are just awesome ꒰˘̩̩̩⌣˘̩̩̩๑꒱♡

And this looks like stuff I would actually get irl! THANK YOU for recognizing my ppl and our culture bc for some reason it's very very rare in the Sims universe.
