No one owes you anything just because other creators do things differently. And you are so wrong about the rules. EA states that content has to be released within a reasonable amount of time (https://help.ea.com/en/help/the-sims/the-sims-4/mods-and-the-sims-4-game-updates/#policy), and that's solely at the discretion of the creator. EA didn't state a specified amount of time because they don't have one set. If you don't know what you're talking about, you shouldn't make hurtful statements. You have no idea how much time and effort goes into the creation of the content. You don't know how much of the monthly fees go towards Patreon's cut or taxes. You're just out here telling people that it's not fair that you can't get stuff for free faster and that their income is "enough." If you can't wait a month for content to be released, go somewhere else or make your own. FFS, the amount of entitlement in your post is ridiculous. I hope you read this and apologize to ClutterCat for being ignorant of the policy.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me and remaining fairly objective. I wasn't really on my side at the beginning of the month - you can see the reasons in the text above. When I went back on Patreon and read the comments from you and others, I was very upset and wrote this post to explain my situation and provide the transparency you are asking for. And it's not about not being allowed to ask questions. But the way people communicate in some cases is simply not right. There's always the option of a personal message as well - but to attack creatives as an angry mob is pretty out of line and I no longer accept this behavior on my site. I have already uploaded 23 free projects with over 500 objects to CurseForge and I publish one more free set every month. Each of these objects costs you nothing, but they cost me time. Several hours or even days per object. You can do the math and see how much time that means taken together. I'm happy to do it, but if I don't manage to upload something right at the beginning of the month, there's no need to be abusive, spread lies and act as if I'm the worst person who only wants to do you harm. I don't think I'm the person behaving selfishly in this context.

I'm sorry for what you went through. Dealing with a death and having covid can be tolling both mentally and physically to the body and oneself. As someone who had made a comment regarding release of CC you decided to block me. Instead of being a little transparent with your followers on your struggles or updating on anything regarding making CC public you left us guessing which did result in many people being upset. Understand my comment was not coming from hate but EA did have to get involved early this year regarding paywalls and CC releases. Was it wrong of me to say something of the matter when you as the creator are using EA tools and programs to make CC? I was grateful to have your mods in my game but your response tells me its easy for you to block and forget rather than give US the followers/patreons due respect to at least communicate to us, I feel if that had happen you wouldn't have to release this statement. Again I am sorry for what you have gone through Hope you have the heart to unblock those who didn't mean to really hurt you.

oh hon, sending happy, healing, and loving energy your way. Remember that you don't owe anyone a damn thing that you aren't willing to give. Unfortunately, in today's times, people feel overly entitled to everything and anything via the internet and the ability to get anything nearly instantly if not in just a day or two. Your health is everything and it should be your top priority, always. I am living with severe fibromyalgia the last 12 years and I 150% attest that fact. If you aren't feeling up to creating due to your health, then pause billing for a month. If you create during that time, fantastic and if not you can just add some extra content the next month. Take the pressure off yourself. Your content absolutely is worth the amount you charge and as a single older woman on disability and a very, very fixed income I am happy to donate to what I can so you can keep creating your fantastic content. P.S Ignore the haters, responding to them only feeds them. Delete the posts that disturb YOUR community. Refund and block the ones that make them. This is your space, not theirs :)

Everyone piling on must really suck but I encourage you to work on communication in 2024. It is incredibly frustrating how often you are clearly ignoring comments and requests for cc that are paywalled for even longer than YOU promise them! Everyone would be a lot more understanding if you would tell people you need more time to upload something to Curseforge, especially if you're updating other platforms anyways. It costs nothing to be kind, but it's also free to communicate!

I'm new to the patron platform and there are many artists like yourself that have been attacked for creating a little joy for simmers like myself......I have found alot of the Sims community to be nasty and hate filled and distrustful towards each other which is such a shame! People keep your nasty comments to yourself.....noone wants to hear them...life is hard enough without people being harassed on social creative media platforms. As clutter cat says she spends many hard hours a day trying to brighten people's lives and of course why shouldn't they be paid for the work....if it offends you go somewhere else. First, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, for your health woes and for the fact that you have still felt obligated to produce more of the amazing content you have been giving us because we are plagued with far more selfish people than we are kind and empathetic. The fact that you still kept creating and feeling the need to create during all of this is absolutely admirable, but you had no obligation to.
