Land Bridge
Added 2016-01-24 17:19:10 +0000 UTCThat big land bridge, an interesting possibility for the story, is somewhat hard to explain geologically, and looks rather silly when rendered in 3D.
By expanding the southern continent across the equator, I think I can achieve a greater aesthetic result AND massively expand the land area of the Kiln. All this while still maintaining the possibility of a land link between the northern and southern landmasses.

Yeah I like it, I think I will keep it but scaled down to join the continents at the upper right.

2016-01-25 17:12:25 +0000 UTCI like the idea of a land bridge that lead to unknown lands in the past like our Bering Strait or Central America. Volcanic island arc is not a bad idea.

2016-01-25 08:31:59 +0000 UTCWhat if the land bridge was instead a volcanic island arc, like the Aleutians, or the Japanese home islands? Seems a little more realistic, still eases transit- and makes for lots of niches for interesting life/cultures/conflict.
