Change of Focus - Chriirah Itself
Added 2016-01-29 20:08:55 +0000 UTCAt this stage, I have decided to push designing the entire solar system to a later stage, and focus in greater detail on the birrin homeworld itself. I will release a high resolution version of the planet as well as a final work based on the WIP template above.
I will label and detail the major land masses, geographical features and climate zones along with a number of key historical points of interest.
OR, would you rather forgo the detailed map, and see the solar system and other planets instead?

More encyclopedic, as I basically just enjoy world building itself, but everything is also being designed with very specific story elements in mind. So I am setting the stage for future narratives as well.

So, as far as developing the back story and supplemental elements for this (like the planet and surrounding solar system); are you just trying to fill it out in as much detail as possible to give yourself a structure that will answer future questions that relate to a specific storyline you have in mind? Or are you seeing this as more of an Encyclopaedia / Field guide of the Birrin?
