Crossroads
Added 2016-04-09 04:03:41 +0000 UTCI am at a point of decision making on the birrin city piece. My question to you all is:
Would you rather see a broad overview of a city, with the focus on the location, or a more intimate setting of Birrin life, say a side street, with less city on show?

That seems to be the consensus :)

2016-04-18 01:00:35 +0000 UTCI really love the little details of life in other people's universes; like cafes, sidestreets, markets, intimate little details that sometimes get overlooked in the grand scale of things. So yeah the latter would be brilliant for me, personally!

2016-04-10 17:19:17 +0000 UTCYeah someone the most mundane places can be fascinating, seen in an alien context

2016-04-10 17:19:04 +0000 UTCI'd like to see both, plus many more. The more assets, and viewpoints, and the evolving history of this civilization that you can muster up, the more it begins to feel like a real place with a specific flavor. Would also be cool to see the bad parts of town, run down areas, dumps, public facilities.

2016-04-09 15:15:51 +0000 UTCI also would prefer some insight into everyday life.
2016-04-09 15:02:27 +0000 UTCMore intimate setting. =)

2016-04-09 08:24:31 +0000 UTCYeah I think that seems to be the consensus

2016-04-09 08:23:56 +0000 UTCYeah it would be good to tell two stories in the one image...

2016-04-09 08:23:40 +0000 UTCI'd like to see a slice of local culture with the cityscape looming in the background.
2016-04-09 05:41:11 +0000 UTCI think a ground level view might tell us more about their culture and help bring them to life more. For an idea of what their city planning is like, a top-down map might be cool in the future.
2016-04-09 04:32:02 +0000 UTCBased on your last WIP post, I'd rather see more of the city life than the city. That doesn't mean the big ol' Birrin sculpture in the background wouldn't be visible, it would be peeking over the buildings and market stalls of the city folk.

2016-04-09 04:24:07 +0000 UTCI think a side-street. Kids playing, adults doing a deal over a used vehicle, a couple of pets checking each other out, someone in the middle distance watering a plant.
