Mars Hopper WIP
Added 2021-03-30 19:19:18 +0000 UTCMost of the major elements coming together: in my mind it WAS a re-entry capable shuttle used by the colony, but was later retrofitted for simple suborbital hops. They stripped off most of the thermal tiles and added a large all glazed cockpit for better visibility.

hmmm, it would make sense if it was surplus, it's not like it wouldn't work on mar's surface, my point is that a bell nozzle made for the surface of mars wouldn't need to be that much smaller than one that would be made for the vacuum of space. but it is entirely possible that a bell nozzle made for the vacuum of space would be less efficient for a hopper than an Aerospike.
