WIP - Spearfishing
Added 2020-07-17 13:47:51 +0000 UTCI am working on the spearfishing scene in parallel with designing the spear-thrower itself: it seems I need to turn it upside down so that the curved section doesn't jab the user in the chin when they use it!.

There is a depression in the centreline of the thrower that holds the spear in place

2020-07-18 05:34:54 +0000 UTCI take it that it's on a hinge of some sort attached to their snout? Looking at videos, humans hold the "dart" or spear in place with a finger or thumb until they launch it. Does the Birrin version have a guide that holds the spear steady before they whip their heads forward to throw it? I imagine that with their eyestalks, aiming is incredibly easy with four point "triangulation".
