A sample of life on the seafloor in the valley inlet, part of the birrin story.
The swimming creatures are sand-darts, fast and quick breeding, which survived and then thrived after the Fall War. The perforated oval is the retractable feeding body of a small 'invertebrate' buried in the sand, and collects food much like an Earth sponge. The sand dollar like creature is a Mudplate, which slowly crawls along consuming the microbial mats in shallow water with its cilliated tongue.
