2020-08-31 16:58:39 +0000 UTCThat's a fancy cockpit fan, which make sense because if it wasn't enclosed it would slap the sensitive stalks every time the pilot tries to reach for the swithches/knobs. Since the cockpit has air conditioning and air vents I can imagine the cockpit wound be a VERY hot place to be, just like in a sail plane. The air vent also means that the pilot would very likely experience bad mountain sickness every time the vent is open at high altitude. Were the toggle switches designed with their anatomy in mind, like are the levers designed so that they's easier to grab with the beak?
