G'day you fucking legends, I hope you've all been awesome over the holiday period and into the new year. Fingers crossed this year will kickass for all of us!

BIG NEWS: I will be taking a MAJOR hiatus from the channel for 2026!

I am going back to SCHOOL!!! 📚
The last few years since moving to Melbourne have been incredible but I found myself for the first time feeling a big stagnant and dissasitsfied with my day-to-day, so I'm ready for a new challenge. Higher education was never a realistic option for me but given where I'm at in life, pushing 30 in June with ambitions growing beyond merely being a 'youtuber', I think it's time to stretch my wings. I will be studying Screen Media which of course is right up my alley, I'm going in confident with the foundational skills I've learned all these years making videos but I'm exicted to learn a WHOLE bunch more and hopefully, get the opportunity for some real industry experience.

Apologies for the severe lack of content or updates through the end of '25 until now, I wanted to try and get a few more projects up but simply haven't been able to commit to any of them. Also the thought of making a video to say "Hello and goodbye" is really scary, however you can expect to see that soon on the channel with some more details about this decision to take a step back.

HOW DOES THIS IMPACT PATREON and all of you?

Patreon previously offered a 'Charge per Creation' option for in the event, I do still make the occassional video, however this option is no longer available.
I can suspend the account which turns off charging and memberships until I decide to turn it back on, unfortunatley because the page has existed for almost 10 years, switching it back on would greatly increase Patreon's tax on my earnings here.

SO the solution: I will simply jump on once a month to PAUSE BILLING for the next billing period (30 days)! This means you can all still access rewards, Discord roles etc. without having to pay. AND if I am able to make a video, this allows me to charge like normal for that month and deliver rewards like normal. So essentially... I'm making my OWN 'Charge per Creation' system.

On that note, the Collection of EXCLUSIVES has been made available as a standalone purchase as a way of still offering something if people old/new wish to support the channel or are looking for videos they've not seen before!

So yeah that's where I've been, that's where I'm going and hopefully everything makes sense. If you have any questions, you can always reach out either here or in the Discord chat. And I want to make it as clear as possible that I don't want this to be the end of the channel, but now is the right time to take a step back and evaluate everything and I hope that I can come back and crack that 100k milestone to get me a play button! ▶️
