Update #3: Plan for More Youtube Episodes
Added 2024-12-16 08:58:20 +0000 UTCI've recently written 6 new youtube episodes at 7-10 minutes each. I won't spoil the stories, but here's an outline:
Wave 1:
ep4: Gutterball Hit-Piece
ep5: A Day in Lily's Life
ep6: Hannah's Audition + Rico's Date
Wave2
ep7: Ivan 's Job Hunt
ep8: Rowley's Odyssey
ep9: Ivan's Horror Movie
Granted we're not at our goal of $1500, so until my support grows, the team is limited to myself as the sole animator, Apple_Toast on backgrounds/scene layouts, and my new producers from Cat and Liz from Astri studio. We also have Brooke, Heather, Todor and Leo ready for voice work.
Without animation help, progress will be slow, but I'll continue to work at it full-time, with an aim of having at least the 1st wave released in 2025. You'll also see a push for more funding now and then, to potentially get all 6 new eps released within the year if possible.
Unfortunately I've had to put a hold on Discount Theatre for this, replacing them with monthly comics, but I hope you'll consider it a worthwhile exchange. Thank you so much for the support, you guys have been the ones to make it possible.

I'm waiting with bated breath for more Day Job lore lol Looking forward to seeing more from Rowley. He's my favourite character design out of the main five, and I enjoy his awkward attempts at trying to be a model employee. It's cool that Rico's getting some character development from the Discount Theatre episodes as well. You weren't lying when you said they were canon

The patreon has been growing steadily, so I think the best way to get there was to just take the leap, and start making more episodes for youtube
