That must have been hard, I am proud of you. I once took a job that I was just completely unhappy as well and took a paycut because it was just eating me up. I also have depression and anxiety so I am fortunate enough to have financial stability that I routinely turn down opportunities to make more money simply because money truly isnt everything, you truly need to find a balance. I wish you luck finding other opportunities, I hope they turn out to be ones that also make you happy and I'm glad we get to hear from you a little more in the meantime :)

Really relieved you can leave work that caused a lot of mental stress. That's really difficult to do (dealt with that earlier this year with my job, it was fulltime with full benefits but I was crying almost everyday so)!! It's really hard to leave something that gives you more financial stability you know? So I'm so happy you listened to yourself. We'll be here for you!
