This album is a masterpiece! And my top3 are Better Babe / Drawing our moments / Gravity!

So happy you reacted to this masterpiece of an album!! Literally my favourite album, definitely the best soloist album in my opinion too. My favourite from the album is either Blue or Drawing Our Moments... I'm hoping she performs Drawing Our Moments too, hopefully she does in her next concert, I have no doubt it will be her best ever live performance... Ugh. So proud of my day 1 ultimate bias, she single handedly got me into KPOP in 2009, and now she's come so far ❤️ Definitely need to check out her first mini album "I" and also her 2nd best album "My Voice Deluxe Edition" which is also a masterpiece! :)

Don't judge me but I keep going back to this reaction of yours. At the 19 min mark in Part 2 during "Gravity" I was thinking, what compelled Taeyeon to do that epic adlibbed high note at the end? Like out of nowhere in the studio she belted this beautiful note. Genius

Am I the only one that is wanting your next album reaction to be of her first Japanese album 'Voice'?? I mean, her Korean album "My Voice" is amazing but "Voice" is sensational

One of the things on my bucket list is to watch Taeyeon live too. Like, I will actually fly over to Korea just to see her perform if I have to. I don’t know how it’s true, but everyone says that her voice sounds better live than in the studio. I mean... only King Taeyeon sounds better in person. Taeyeon hasn’t toured outside of Asia herself, as a solo concert is a lot harder to sell out in foreign countries than group ones. But SNSD has performed in many foreign countries, like the US and even France.

This gets even harder, considering "Blue" and "Four Seasons" are also on the physical version of this album. So my favorites would be those 2, "Better Babe", "Here I Am", "Drawing Our Moments", "LOL", "My Tragedy" and "Wine" probably. But the rest of the album is very close. I do have a love/hate relationship with "Spark" and I feel "Love You Like Crazy" could use a more polished production though. I also need to be in a very particular mood to enjoy "Do You Love Me" and "City Love". But it's a great album overall, goes head to head with "My Voice Deluxe" for me.

I should note that just because it's last on my list doesn't mean I don't adore it. Thats just how much I loved this whole album that that one ended up last. But yes I'm sure the lives are insane

So I saw you put LYLC as last, but I am 100% positive that if you see the live version of that song, that song will jump up on the chart. There is something about seeing that song live that elevates it to a whole other level. Personally, for me, "My Tragedy" is my favorite from this album for the pure musical genius of that song.

I can't wait for the live performance reaction, will you do a full concert reaction? That would be awesome. Her latest concert The Unseen to me is her most complete concert if you know what I mean. Good to see you enjoy her album. :)

i think this taeyeon answer from a recent editorial kinda describes the feels of this album, of going thru moments of more vulnerability and gaining confidence, and that being a cycle: "I can't say that I have perfect confidence in myself. It's a process. To believe in yourself is a journey. Even with practice & experience, it's not automatic. Going through a wide variety of life experiences & feeling through them, I think that leads to confidence." She's gone a long way and has grown so much, it makes me so proud! specially bc now she's actually very open abt her struggles w mental health, and she seems very conscient of how it can affect her and knowing when to push herself and when to give herself a break. Yes, the whole album is personal to her. Although Taeyeon doesn’t write her music, she does choose it carefully and she has said Purpose in particular contained her emotions and feelings. I feel your whole rant on mental health, and I am glad you seem to be dealing with depression better this year, even if it’s never easy. I agree with you about being open about mental health, which is something Taeyeon has been throughout her career and even more so these last few years, be it through her music, concert talks and even social media. This year, based on what she told us, it seems like she’s doing better and I am very happy for that. Now back to the album, I love every track, but my favorite songs are Better Babe, LOL, Gravity and Here I am, although every time I listen to the album fully the list changes a bit because all the songs are just that good. I am excited for when you finally dive into her live performances cause they are always better than the recordings.

After watching your Lion Heart album listen I got the impression you might be among the folks that like My Voice even more than Purpose, so that will be interesting to find out if you get around to it one day! They're both such amazing albums. Glad to hear you did like Purpose so much though, it's my personal favourite from her and one of my favourite albums period. I think I like Drawing Our Moments, Better Babe, and Here I Am the best, but it's so hard... not sure if I can pick just one.

I love every single one of Taeyeon's albums they each bring a different feel and experience. In this one my favorite by far is "Drawing Our Moments" I always feel breathless listening to it. It used to be "Wine" but then the repackaged came out and my list was thrown out. My favorite song by hers (and in music in general) is actually "Time Lapse" and it is in the My Voice album. Now we just need "My Voice" ( the repackaged preferably) And "This Christmas: Winter is Coming" to complete the Taeyeon album sacred three. They will not disappoint trust me.
