It’s funny how you just straight point out Hangyul as you most fav member because the fact that he is friend with your bias Sangyeon from The boyz and they kinda resemble each other in many ways especially their look.

As a Hangyul stan since he took part in The Unit+ back in late 2017/early 2018 I am always SO very happy when people take notice of/interest in him, so I loved this reaction even more than I already would have just because it's X1. For BAE173 each letter is said individually B-A-E-1-7-3 and I would love it so much if you could react to their debut MV 'Crush on U'. Both Hangyul and Dohyon from X1 are in the group.

Yes, you were right in the fact the X1 version songs were on PDX101. Pretty Girl, Move and U Got It, were all sung on the concept evaluation round of the show. They were pretty popular, so they made X1 versions too.

This is what happen the bottom line is the be all and end all for the companies, you sacrifice young lives and artistic pursue. Let's face it they couldn't care about the idols and music they produce any more than orange juice at a supermarket. They couldn't tell the difference from one song to another. The explosion of kpop like the internet bubble draws a lot people who wants to make a quick buck into the field.

Hangyul is truly a very special person, you have a good eye haha!! He had a really interesting life and career. He is one of those people in the industry who have so many debuts under their belt but doesn't give up and has such a positive outlook on life. I actually recently posted a really interesting and honest interview with him in the discord you can definitely take a look at if you just wanna know more about him (there are no spo's for songs or other stuff I swear)

I believe you have at least seen most of them somewhere lol Seungwoo - Victon Wooseok - UP10TION Seungyoun - WOODZ Hangyul, Dohyon - BAE173 (promoted as H&D for a while as duo) (Hangyul actually debuted 4 times already.. he was also on The Unit but failed to place in the final but joined UNB for one cb as a dancer) Hyeongjun, Minhee - Cravity Yohan - WEi Eunsang - solo activities, you reacted to him if i remember correctly Junho - Drippin Dongpyo (smol boy, my bias in x1) - is in trainee group DSP N in DSP. Some of the other trainees left but the group's fancafé still includes 6 members including Dongpyo (yes, i stan him since produce and i felt for him bcs of the narative he had there - would you cry? maybe. im not saying more)

Completely agree with both points! They were on track to become my favorite produce group so I’m really bummed at how it turned out for them. But I’m glad most of them have made their way back into the public eye albeit with varying degrees of success.

the coexisting opinions are absolutely correct! it's a shame that the group had to pay for something they were not in the slightest responsible for. good thing that almost all of them so far were able to bounce back from that and re-debut/comeback rather quickly and successfully!

Oh wow, I liked that! X1 was the second kpop group I got into, around this time last year, just days before they disbanded and I was so sad :( I look forward to watch Produce X 101 with you :)
