General Update
Added 2016-07-28 22:16:17 +0000 UTCIt was a pretty productive month. Now that we're mostly finished with conventions and various Sunrider-related merchandise production for the Sunrider Kickstarter, we've had more time to properly work on Starnova.
We're almost done with character body designs. I think we'll be finished by the time the month ends. Next month, the art department will be making clothing to dress the characters up.
Scenario writing has also begun this month. This is going to be a huge scenario, possibly as long as every Love in Space game we've made so far put together. So far, the script is a little longer than Sunrider First Arrival, and the story hasn't even begun yet. Gonna be soo much work... =w=
I don't think we're going to have any game play this time to get the absolute longest possible scenario but maybe we can try adding a stat raising mini-game if time permits like Danganropa 2? I dunno how many people like stat crunchers nowadays since a lot of people complained about it in Academy. If we don't make a stat raiser, there's actually another idol stat raising game being made by another company right now, so I guess people will be able to get their fill of spreadsheet game play from them.
We've also started work on the bgm. Not much made yet, but music production should start next month.

I couldn't really say, I sort of cheated my way through that part (even on Waifu mode), and when possible do the same on other games. To me fun in a shooter is god mode with a bullet hose; Sunrider Academy unlimited funds and setting stats where I want them etc...

There are also little things that can be done with the narrative to replace long segments of stalled gameplay that speed up the time towards on that particular character path, for example I quite liked in gaokao 100 days had the summer school event that would replace the stat manager for a block of time if the criteria was met (although you were still earning stats while it was happening).

2016-07-31 09:26:08 +0000 UTCThe issue with the sunrider academy minigames was when things started slowing down and how you had to hit stats to get more events and if you didnt then you would have entire months of nothing going on

2016-07-29 22:33:34 +0000 UTCI enjoy stat raising mini games I will admit that sunrider academy did get a little repetitive but if it was like a side quest or optional thing I would not mind more stat games. Thats crazy to hear its going to be that large I hope you dont push your self too hard as I can imagine thats a lot of work what ever you choose I look forward to been a fan every since I found sunrider back in 2014
