Reward Update: ($25+) 'Name in Credits' - Final Call

You'll be happy to hear that we're now fast approaching a point where we can start talking about our plans for the final release build, before we get there though we have still have quite a few things left that require us to get the elbow grease out.
One of these areas is the credits in the game which will include the Patreon reward from the $25+ tier 'name in the credits when released'.
We'll be making this update in the upcoming month, this therefore means to qualify for this reward you will need to backing the 'Behind the Scenes IV - Download HD Animations' tier by the end of this month (March).
If your pledge fails you will have 10 days to correct this before your name drops off our list and as a result you will no longer qualify.
In short:
- This reward expires after 31/03/2018 .
- The exception is those who were backing the tier but their pledge failed and they were able to correct it within 10 days.
- If you pledge to $25+ in the April cycle this particular reward will no longer be available.

The name will be based on what was set to the account when we pulled the data in March, so yours for example is exactly the same as your username is now 'MaraviaX'.

2018-03-30 14:29:01 +0000 UTCNot quite, so your pledge (the amount you pay each month) corresponds to a reward tier, these tiers are described under 'rewards' on the right hand side and indicate the type of posts you will be able to see at that level. Each bullet point with the exception of those marked with a '**' relate to a type of post that can be viewed as a result of being part of that tier. The work in progress hcgs can be viewed at the $20 tier whereas the $25 tier can view both the work in progress hcgs as well as the completed ones.

Also if Y sells great, thats a clear indicator people want Y, so the devs would be interested in getting on that action rather then going back to X, no matter what few diehard fans want. That said i really doubt people would be too interested in idol creation game, target demographics are what? Japan/Korea since they have those irl and horny people who are not into watching porn. Struggling to think of people who might enjoy it.

Point is while I´m also strongly rooting for Sunrider to get green light next, I don´t find that a reason to not give Starnova even a chance. Might end up a decent story, who knows (not me since i don´t spoil myself with alpha/beta).

2018-03-26 21:51:39 +0000 UTCSuppose you made X and Y, X sells ok, Y sells like shit, at this point you either make X2 or go for Z because people clerly are not interested in Y. There is literally nothing preventing another sunrider from being created, they have the formula down, they have setting, a long standing goodwill among the people, absolute majority of work was already made, they can literally reuse assets left and right. They need a story, a few scripts, everything else is ´´'cherry on top' like new art, extra music, extra ryders, changes in gameplay etc. Not to mention, the big success of initial sunrider came from passion for creation and their unique vision, not some funding or stunning visual effects. Granted i think LiS devs have too much integrity to resort to EA tactics of pushing out games quick to make dosh. Here is a final thought: Hunnie pop was unique and great, people loved it, because gameplay was fucking fun, then the same people made a shitty management game which tanked hard since no gameplay, extremely questionable content, alienating fans, dogshit dialog/storyline. You cant acquire funds and fans from just waifus and baits. The game needs to have its own solid base, like sunrider does, granted there were infuriating moments (in liberation day pretty much everyone knows what im talking about), but it was still amazing, how many people are interested in kick ass space adventures? Now how many are interested in idol management game? Im just hoping this is released sooner so Sunrider2 goes into works full time instead of pinning ideas on wall.

Also im not going to promote it, i did promote sunrider, because it was fucking great, this i have no interest in, if it doesnt do as well as Sunrider there will be more incentive to pursue that. I have no interest in a game where you manage girls singing career, like at all. I'll buy the game on steam when its out but im not going to play it, there are no philosophical quandries in it, no awesome mech combat, no space exploration or that mass effect feel. Sunrider is superior in all aspects except waifu fanservice, which is present in almost every VN game rendering it last on the priority list.

The HD animations are posts made on Patreon with the 'hcg' tag and have '1080p Version' in their title, they are the final versions that will be added to the game.
