Love everything about this album lmao and yeah as someone else already said, this album was split into Regular vs Irregular. NCT interlude's are always awesome, such amazing production is always put into them and they do cool things. No Longer live is godly you have to check that out sometime! The Regular you checked out was the English ver. and the general fan consensus is that the Chinese (WayV) and English versions are the best. All threes lyrics though have a different message which is cool. Korean version is about the reality of their lives, English version is the dream they want to achieve (money, cars, diamonds, etc) and Chinese version speaks about the ambition they have to work for it. My Van is literally about them riding in their van, but I think it touched more on the endless cycle of their lives and how tiring it is on their minds/mental state, plus the criticism they get from the outside. Chain Japanese version is absolutely superior, you HAVE to watch that music video and choreo it's insane. WayV also have a version of Come Back! I like their Chinese version better personally, but yeah the song is definitely 2Gen vibes! Run Back 2 U is a special track actually bc back when nct were still sm rookies they did a dance video with the instrumental of Run Back 2 U. So when the album dropped a lot of fans, especially the ones who had been following nct since the start, kinda lost their minds hhhh

notes about the album: the concept of this album is that it's separated into two parts, regular (first half) and irregular (second half). regular is their more 'safe' sounding songs, while irregular is more experimental and the interlude is provided as a transitional piece. in the original, my van was after the interlude so i was pretty mad that they moved it to before because it ruined the flow of the album. regular has three versions: english, korean, and chinese (sung by wayv; it's also their debut song). additionally, come back also has three versions: japanese, korean, and chinese (also sung by wayv). it was first released before this album as a japanese b-side on chain, a japanese title track. run back 2 u is a bonus track because as sm rookies, they performed a shorter version called bassbot (you can find it on youtube) so this was like a gift to the fans that have been there since pre-debut.

in the original regular-irregular album my van came after the interlude bc the interlude is the transition from the regular part of the album to the irregular part which made a lot more sense, for some reason they changed it in the repackage and the contrast between no longer followed immediately by my van is too strong and kinda ruining the "layout" of the album for me. the regular-irregular album was so cool and almost told a story in a way but the repackage kinda lost that.. so whenever i listen to the album as a whole i never listen to the repackage 💀
