I just listened to this album, and needed to come here ASAP to see if you lost your mind over Don't Touch the same way I did. Glad to see we had the same reaction 😂 The whole album is fantastic

Kaia, these WJSN girls are actually the female BTS in China. They have a huge fandom there, not because of the Chinese members, but because of Bona. She speaks fluent Chinese and the apple of the eye of the Chinese fandom. They won lots of award there and in 2019, is the most influential k-pop group in China. In Japan they are huge too, apart from Twice and Izone. They had a number of fansigns there too And they went to Germany once for a concert, and apparently attracted lots of fans in Germany, France and Netherlands to be Euro Ujungs.

truly wjsn never misses!!! “as you wish” is really just front-to-back bangers. and i totally agree — what i really love about them is their discography has MASSIVE range in genres but they still maintain a kind of signature “wjsn” sound no matter what they do.

Your favorite title track from them ranked the last in this album lol, their bsides' quality shows I think one major factor for wjsn not being known as widely as they should be aside from starshit not promoting wjsn internationally is because they debuted with a cute concept and kept at it for quite some time (till 2018 with Dreams Come True, last one OT13 and even after that I would not call their concepts sexy, more mature yeah but not sexy), and I feel like international fans are more into sexy/mature concepts, Unnatural helped a lot in that aspect. I assume the next album will be For The Summer and look forward to your reaction, with songs from Caesar & Loui, MosPick and Full8loom, it is a banger of an album

VERY relatable rant at the end 😅 as resident WM stan especially since WM groups are famous (notorious?) for having farrr more domestic than international fans. And their discographies! Are so! Good!! It's not that I can blame anyone for not knowing, but like you said it's just frustrating. Like, if you give them a chance... ㅠㅠ

I loved the reaction, As You Wish is such a good album. I'm so excited to see you work your way through all their albums! Also, thank you for reacting to Kiss Your Lips as well, it's too good not to have a reaction video for. As for what you said at the end, I could not agree more. As someone that likes a lot of groups, especially a lot of nugus, it's often frustrating to see them not get the credit they deserve. A lot of kpop fans seem to only pay attention to groups and artist from the big companies like SM, YG, etc., and act like those groups are the greatest ever, which to be fair a lot of them are incredible, but I hate when groups like WJSN don't get enough credit for the amazing amount of high quality work they put out. One of my ult groups is GWSN, and I feel extremely similar to them that they have one of the best discographies out there, and everyone that listens to them always says how good their music is, but they are so often ignored. I know not every nugu group is going to get the attention they deserve, not everyone is like me and wants to listen to as many groups as possible, but it sure would be nice if more of these big group fans would give some of these groups a shot because there's some really great music out there and groups that very much deserve to be way more popular than they are.
