Visual Novel | Learning code | Sharing Projects
Added 2020-07-06 17:27:06 +0000 UTCRecently I’ve started to teach myself how to code through Ren’py , and I’d like to start sharing demos of practice VNs I’m making. I’ve always wanted to make a visual novel , so I’ve been gathering resources and taking notes - basically just hopped right into it haha !!
So far I’ve got one project going called Black Box - and I’m having some people look at it for me while I draw out sprites and experiment with the script. It’s been so much fun and it’s taken up a lot of time - but it just shows how passionate I am about it ! ☺️
I think making smaller projects to practice things , like little game jams for myself , makes it a lot less intimidating! I’ll keep you guys posted on my progress and when I’m ready to share anything here ! 👍
