The T’xun (commission).

This is the latest commission that I’ve completed for Ryan Bowers world building project, you’ll see him down in the comments where I’m sure he’ll answer all of your questions about his project. You can also find him on X and Instagram too under the name Ryan bowers.

Here’s the description for the T’xun:

The T’xun are a pacifist people, always opting for diplomacy over war. One thing of note is that the T’xun are the only known spacefaring herbivore species in the galaxy, something usually exclusive to intelligent beasts of prey. The T’xun hail from a moon orbiting a superearth in a trinary star system, something else of note is that they have two brains! The T’xun are a race of sheepish, herd-like collectivists. Because of this, stable governance has always come easy to them. Given that they are a conformist, non violent and self-domesticated species, crime really isn’t a factor. They pride themselves on their subservience to the state, this led to the easy adoption of a world government in order to prevent any potential causes of war or violence.

The T’xun have gone through a rigorous process of enforced selective breeding over the course of centuries, this advanced form of eugenics has selected both for passiveness and also a refined form of intelligence. The T’xun are analytical and logical by nature, they do not give themselves over to the passions or art. They lack a spiritual and sexual aspect also, being an atheistic race of hermaphrodites that breed only out of necessity. Individuality is practically a sin in T’xun society and thus they have very little in the way of culture, everything is inoffensive, universal and utilitarian. Their sole orientation as a society is towards exploration and the sciences, they take great pleasure in the cataloging of new discoveries in order to contribute to the collective pool of knowledge. They have become the pioneering powerhouse of pharmaceutical, robotic and medical sciences throughout the galaxy because of this. They no longer even need to engage in the shameful animal act of intercourse, opting for pod grown T’xun more often then not.

As has been previously stated, the mitigation of harm and suffering is the prime directive of the T’xun, because of this, they have become extremely physically weak and susceptible to being dominated by more assertive species. With all of that being said, the T’xun make for very friendly, amenable and cooperative neighbours that are very willing to trade. Luckily for them, their first extraterrestrial contact was the peaceful and matriarchal Galji. This alliance between the T’xun and Galji came to be known as the free worlds alliance, a trade Union with a mutual protection clause between all member states.

These dudes are ver careful about everything they do everything is calculated

Ryan

Damn, exterior muscles/tendons? Another example of how ALIEN you manage to make aliens. Must be a god awful existence tho, one paper cut to the tendon and you can't move your arm no more 😂

Omar Molotov

Awesome! I am almost done saving up for a commission. Maybe in a week or two. Let me know if there is a price change with commissions.

MachineGunSally

I’m open for small commission like these character profiles because my main priority is getting Humanity Lost pages up on the Patreon at a regular pace, but yeah, drop me a message if you’d like something similar doing for one of your own original characters 😁

Callum Diggle

Really chill but will absolutely develop a weapon of mass destruction to make sure things stay chill…. They are pretty zen folk always trying to gather more knowledge and understanding but if something poses a potential existential threat down they line they will do something about it

Ryan

Is Callum open for commissions? I’m just about saved up for my own. I like the fact that the T’xun look like they could be an aggressive race, but are really a bunch of chill people. Just shows how truly alien they are.

MachineGunSally

Yeah I need to get with Callum and edit some of the lore descriptions before the book is ready because humans have been purged

Ryan

Huh, I thought they were as they were mentioned in the other commission posts.

Fire_Warrior22

Humans aint in this universe it’s a totally different galaxy, the T’Xuns brains are in the humps on their shoulders

Ryan

Impressive as always lad. I wonder what the function of their second brain is, and what are the other members of the Free Worlds Alliance? I am guessing that perhaps the humans are part of it given their close relation with the Galji.
