I don't even know now what my favorite songs are - I did a list of all Korean Monsta X tracks, so I have a ranking, but I can't go check now hahaha... I'll just say that this album was the final reason for me to become a Monbebe, so that says a lot XD And yes, I would love to see what your ranking of the albums would be in the end. I think you still haven't heard one of my favorite albums, so we'll see how that goes (if I'm not mistaken).

But definitely give their Japanese ones a listen in your free time too bc i promise you.. you'll be very pleased :) The Clan 2.5/Shine Forever are the first cbs that I experienced as a proper Monbebe, so these songs have a very special place in my heart. I really feel like this album is quintessential Monsta X...the range, the noise, the vocals..you can also really hear the sound that people often credit to Monsta X for inspiring the new era of KPOP. The random noises and interjecting rap verses with overlayed powerful vocals. THIS is Monsta X! I really wished people could look beyond their title tracks and give their b-sides a listen bc they're one of the few groups for me that have consistently produced TOP TIER b-sides since debut. People are really missing out on their versatility, bc MX have something for everyone. My faves on this besides the titles include 5:14, Need U, Oi, and moreeee. The lyrics for 5:14 (written by rapline+wonho, about MX's story) and I'll Be There (prod by wonho, his first song for Monbebe) are super special, definitely check them out 🥺

2022-01-21 20:44:32 +0000 UTCI would love to hear your final album rankings :D I have Shine Forever as my morning alarm sound so whenever I hear that intro I automatically start looking for my phone to turn it off lol I'll Be There is the first Wonho song we got on the album and has a video in MonChannel showing its writing process, I would recommend checking it out (It's ep 54, subbed on vlive), he also has a hand in Oi Aaand our Jooheon song of the album is "Miss You"
