Hey everyone!!
I'm back with another little resource of goodness. I love reading and love sharing what I've come across, and this one was a little gem.
I found this a few years ago and its a great book covering how we perceive music. Our brains work in insanely cool ways and this covers details about how we listen to music and what happens in our brains when we do. It also explains why we are attracted to certain things in music, like repetition and familiarity. It's a great insight to our mind and what we create and how other people and ourselves mind ingest it.
It's a pretty heavy read in terms of the language used, as its fairly science-y, lots of neurological talk. But that's what makes it intriguing.
I highly recommend if you're looking for a book to broaden your brain holes in the realm of music and science alike.
Let me know what you guys have been reading!! Would love to hear about them!
:)
