One more thing I have is how to transition in a song. I mean I have tried in past to make a future bass track which then either gets transitioned to trap or dubstep or 4/4 house but it just never meshes together? Also, I have tried making an orchestral kinda track which then either goes to future bass or dubstep but the transition between them is kinda bad & I am struggling a lot with it. Can you help regarding it? Is the problem still with mixing or something else?

Harjot Bakshi

I know you have made a video on how to layer but I think the biggest problem I am currently having is whenever I try to layer chords for future bass, it just doesn't sound good. It either sounds mid-heavy or too much highs, I think the problem is towards mixing rather than selecting sounds. How should I overcome this problem?

also, why does my sub sound louder at different notes but i don’t see a difference in volume on a frequency spectrum?

How do you land remixes for larger artists as an up and coming producer? Do you make the remix using a ripped acapella, send it to their management and hope for the best?

I think it would be cool to show us your approach on making live edits/mashups!

How to do transitions?

I like trying to mesh genres together or come up with unique songs, so my question is: Outside of having the same elements/sounds but processed differently, what do you believe is needed to make a drop and verse sound cohesive in one song?

When you started producing, did you have any background with music theory and/or did you play any instruments prior?

How do approach mixing elements when you want to create a lush and more emotive soundscape? Especially the really glitchy and mechanical sounding elements? I find I struggle with things feeling to “spacey” and losing the intensity or emotion because of the distance created by reverbs and echo. I love your ability to take heavy, low end and still keep the track light and moving without it feeling “weighed down” how do you achieve that? Thanks dude. I have been asking a few people that I admire this question but i really want to know from you as well: How do you approach goal setting and keeping yourself accountable to those goals over say…the course of a quarter (3 month periods)? Thank you ❤️
