Love's Heart - Kokoro completed

Wow, this devlog was fast! My current artist does an amazing and really fast job! Don’t you think?

As I told you yesterday, I commissioned an artist to make an illustration of Kokoro with various facial expressions and outfits, and I also showed you some sketches. Well, Kokoro is finished! Here you can see a few images of her.

Lastly, here she is in pajamas. I could have asked the artist to design the same pajamas I chose for her in the remake, but I preferred to give my artist creative freedom. Which pajamas do you like more?

I know what you’re all wondering: “Where’s Kokoro naked?” Sorry, I’m not showing you that. I have to build anticipation haha. If I show you everything I’ve got already, what interest would you have in this? Settle for the sketch for now, please.

And now the important question. I know you’re all used to the game’s original art made by me in VRoid, but I also know that you’d probably prefer anime-style art if that had been the one you’d known from the start. So, trying to forget about one style or the other and being as objective as possible, what do you think of this art? Do you think it suits the characters better than what I can do? Even if you’re used to the original, do you like this one—would you give it a chance? Or do you think it’s not worth it, that it doesn’t improve the game enough, that this girl doesn’t capture Kokoro’s essence? You can even say it’s garbage if that’s really how you feel. All I ask is for honesty, please—no trolling. If anyone wants to share their honest opinion, please do so in the comments on this post. I’ll also add a poll for those who’d like to give me their opinion but don’t want to write a message.

So far, the feedback on the sketches has been really positive, and that makes me very happy, but this is the moment of truth. If the poll on this post shows divided opinions, I probably won’t move forward with this, because the game needs support for it. If it doesn’t have that, it’s just not worth it.
