This is actually not uncommon for a pre-debut piece of media to contain members that end up not debuting with the group. I imagine it is sometimes done on purpose for the buzz around a new group, but sometimes it just is more appropriate that a member doesn't debut for a particular reason. Seventeen, for example, had 17 members in the pre-debut content, but 4 left before debut. The most notable being Samuel Kim because his parent pulled him as he was still a child (I think he was only 11 or 12 at that time). Lee Know had barely been in JYP for a month when filming started as he has just gotten off the BTS Wings Tour in Japan. He had very little time to prepare. Felix had not even been in Korea a year at this point either (about 7 or 8 months).

The rappers supporting him without hesitation and without asking for help, they just automatically helped him and that made me cry too ๐ญ. Love these boys a lot. We have the binnie obsessed with hyunjin and felix obsessed with binnie from day 1 hahaha. What a love triangle.

2023-08-11 18:40:28 +0000 UTCIn the most recent rachalog (uploaded ~three days ago) Minho revealed that he was a trainee for only a month. That's why he didn't get to do much vocal or rapping lessons, but was still able to get into Stray Kids because he was already a professional dancer at the time. Fun fact: he holds the record for the fastest trainee to master JYP's basic dance moves! He was able to do it in 2 weeks. For reference, Chan took a few years. Momo (one of the main dancers from Twice) is the second-fastest after him, she took 3 months!

2023-08-11 16:26:50 +0000 UTCthe hrllevator mv was released before the show aired as a teaser for it. i guess as an introduction to the trainees that will be in the show and potential members of the new group. iโve thought about this too but hellevator would not be as precious to us as it is now if someone did not make it to the final line up.

Right after the showcase part, they showed JYP meeting the boys in a conference room. I don't know when that took place, but he went over that they were going to be filmed and that the possibility of them all debuting together or not was basically the premise of this show. Minho (Lee Know <3) was also just a trainee for 1 month. He did have a ton of experience as a dancer, but not much training for anything else at the time. He really put a lot of effort into singing (and rapping) after they debuted to become the powerhouse he now is. I believe they released the MV before the show was broadcasted.
